For this reason special attention towards developing proactive approaches in the effort to negate symptoms of heat illness and mitigate decrements in performance is becoming a prevalent practice. As such these techniques and approaches warrant further examination in the effort to provide evidence based recommendations for integrated support staff and athletes.
